As you can see, the back of my house needs some work done to it. Since I usually work very long hours Monday to Friday it will be one of those weekend projects that I will be working on.

Good luck with your project. Let The Handyguys know if we can help.
Oh my this looks fabulous compared to the project that is in store for us later on in the fall.
Our back yard is really a mess. I keep threatening to just take a sledge hammer and knock down the old back porch...tee-hee...then maybe I could get it fixed...LOLZ.
This reminds me of 6 years ago when my house needed painting. I didn't have the money to hire someone and one of my best friends who is a DIY person told me that I could easily paint it myself. The only wood that needed painting was some trim in the front, side, chimney, parts of the roof and the entire back needed paint as well. So I decided to take on the challenge. Yes...I did crawl up on the roof but the pitch on my roof isn't bad at all. I've climbed up there many times and walked around. The biggest challenge was climbing up a tall ladder and painting the chimney. The entire paint job took me 3 months and I did just a little bit at a time AND I got it all done, am extremely pleased with it and I am so proud of myself for doing it all by myself.
Gosh. I wish I had a backyard. That, I guess, will be the first step in making it great. You know, like, uh, actually getting one. Good luck with yours! Nothing's more motivating than nice weather!grrlygrrl

Can't wait to see the finished project :) (It's gotta look better LOL!) Good luck to you!
You'll need just a little creativity and then you'll be okay.
and of course some help from good souls. Call in the "army".
Good luck.
Good luck! I've done some gardening in the past weeks too..
Make sure you take a picture when the project is done!
You really need to do some job with your backyard. You can do it. Update us with the improvements ;0
