Windows Vista: the Latest Source of Frustration!

Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, all I have to say about Windows Vista is: wear a hat while using this product to prevent pulling your own hair out! Up until last week I had no problems with Vista; but now that has all changed. Unfortunately I cannot permanently fix the problem I am having with it at least until I have had a few more paychecks in the bank. Until then you will have to forgive me for posting very sporadically. It took me an hour to boot up my computer today and I fear that as soon as I shut down my computer I will have another hour to reboot it next time I use my computer. Please forgive me for not keeping my blog up to date, but as soon as I can remedy the problem with Vista I will be back posting regularly.

I'm having similar problems with Vista and right now I'm searching for someone to help me clear out some of the junk I don't need.

The latest round of updates has made my OS go completely screwy. I just fix one corrupt system file, the update re-installs itself and the next time I go to log on there's another corrupt system file. I think I need to back up everything and just format the hard drive and re-install Vista. :@ Five years in the making and there are still problems with it, absolutely ridiculous.

Ugh, Vista is such a piece of garbage and it's a shame too since I thought the design was prettier than XP. I tried to deal with Vista for 6 months but then downgraded - oops "upgraded to a more familiar experience"

That really sucks. My computer is on its last leg and I really need a new one but am dreading it due to Windows Vista. I really don't want to get a Mac and try and learn a whole new system but I may have to.

Majik: Everything I've heard leads me to believe that the way to "remedy" the problems with Vista is to uninstall and go back to XP.

Sorry for your troubles!

I really think I understand why not very many people like Vista. These latest series of updates have me fixing corrupted files which takes about an hour just to get online and because of working full time I don't have enough time to drop on everyone. I have been trying its just frustrating. I think I'll have to back everything up, I just have to figure out where I'm going to store everything I want to save. I'm thinking about purchasing a couple high capacity removable drives. Any suggestions?
